Niambi Brown Davis
Niambi Davis is an avid reader, writer, fact junkie, hobbyist photographer, a lover of travel and the tropics. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She and her family lived for many years in Washington, DC and for three and a half years, made the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago their home. In addition to Sanctuary, Niambi’s work includes From Dusk to Dawn, her first full-length novel, Love’s Redemption, a romance graphic novel, and the novella Sabor a Mi. She has researched and written African-American history radio scripts for SI Communications. Niambi has written for Travel and Enjoy Magazine, Travel Lady Magazine, the Queen Anne’s County Record Observer and for Dorchester Publication’s women’s magazines. She was also a contributing columnist to MyRomanceStory.com. Aside from travel and writing, Niambi is an avid reader of historical fiction, and deeply involved in tracing the history of both branches of her family tree. Her day job is running the business of Sand and Silk, Niambi’s own line of handcrafted bath and body products.
Sammie Ward is a fiction and nonfiction writer, who has written over fifty short stories and health articles in her literary career. She has written for Black Romance, Black Confessions, Black Secrets, Bronze Thrills, Jive, True Black Experience, and True Confessions Magazine. She’s the author of the novels, In The Name of Love, Love To Behold, 7 Days, It’s In The Rhythm (Genesis Press), and Lace & Honor. She is currently working on several novels including the sequel to 7 Days titled, Quarter To Midnight. She’s also the CEO/Founder of Lady Leo Publishing.

Gail Hamilton loves writing romance novels full of adventure and the kind of struggle for love that warms your heart. She has also taught English, written advertising and camped across the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu and back.
After a long taste of Toronto city life, she is back on the family farm in rural Ontario, Canada, where she revels in the lively country life and watches the flocks of wild birds crowding her beaver pond while she hatches new plots for delightful reading to come.
