I was dating this guy and it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. He had said we would go out to dinner. Well, he called me that day and I said I was looking forward to going out because I was tired of turkey. So he said that he had other things to do and we wouldn’t be going out after all. I then sent him a letter ending the relationship. (The reason wasn’t the missed dinner but after that I decided the time was right.) My birthday was the following week. I received a card from him in the mail. On the front was a little creature which the card identified as a “nuff.” When I opened it the card read, “Why are you looking in here? Don’t you know a nuff is a nuff?” Thankfully, I never heard from him again.
