Many years ago my girlfriend set me up on a date with her brother. Oh my gosh, this was the worst date that I had ever had! First he took me out to eat–White Castle–where he ordered for us-one tiny hamburger each, split a small fry and split a small drink. Then we went to the movies where he tried to get me in on a children’s discount ticket-I was 21 at the time! After the movies we stopped at a carnival, we used a few tickets then he went around to the crowd trying to sell the unused tickets. He had a good job, so it wasn’t that he couldn’t afford to date, he was just really cheap! I couldn’t wait to go home. The bad thing was that he was a friend’s brother so I couldn’t talk bad about him to anyone–this remains the worst date experience that I ever had.
