One year I was at a New Year’s Eve party with a bunch of friends. I met this wonderfully handsome guy and we danced all night. Unfortunately for us, his friends were too smashed and they had to leave just after midnight. He was the designated driver, so he gave me his phone number and left. My girlfriend had ditched me and I found myself without a place to stay for the night. The guy hosting the party said I could hang out at his house until I felt ready to make the long drive home. I decided that I would. While at his house he kept trying to hit on me and I continued to refuse. Finally, I decided that it wouldn’t be bad to test out my first one night stand. We were just starting to have sex when he prematurely finished. The messed up part was he looked at me…embarrassed and said, “You’re right, we shouldn’t do this!” I was floored at this response because I had fought this guy off for a couple hours, just to give in! I was humiliated! I took off immediately and swore off one night stands!
