I LOVE cats, and always have. One day, after six years of dating, my husband-to-be asked me to meet him at the SPCA to see a cat he thought we might adopt. He said the cat looked like a cougar.

After work, I met him in the cat room at the SPCA and studied all the cats. They were all adorable, but none looked like a cougar. Finally, my husband pulled a ring out of one of the cages. The ring was in the shape of a cougar’s face, with emerald eyes and a diamond in its mouth. That’s how my husband proposed!
