A twist of fate. Navy Sea girl, age 19 on Jan 1, 1987 was sent across the US from Virginia Beach, VA to Monterey, CA. On that same day an Army 20-man was sent From VA to be stationed in California’s Fort Ord. Then by a twist of fate, we met at a military Valentine Dance, all 80’s music. Our eyes met and we married in three months. We are still married and as in love twenty years later, both retired from the military. Life is really good.
