My construction-worker boyfriend and I were out one day and I saw some wild flowers on the side of the road. I asked him to stop so I could pick them. He said, “No, we are running late.”
A few days later he came in and said, “Close your eyes.”
He then presented me with the most beautiful bouquet of wild flowers that he had picked himself.

This was so endearing because he really is a burly guy. I couldn’t even imagine what it took for him to stop and pick these for me while the whole world drove by and saw him!

This was truly one of the most romantic things anyone has ever done for me. I was touched.
