After many years of marriage, I thought my husband would never understand why women like real flowers. For years I would ask my husband for real flowers for Valentine’s Day, my birthday, or Mother’s Day. However he thought it a waste to spend money on flowers.

Three years ago on Mother’s Day he brought me some impatiens in potted hanger. I have babied them, and with his help watering many times, I managed to still have that plant. In winter I have it in the bathroom and the steam helps keep it going. I have blooms all year long. At times I think I’m going to lose it but keep watering and next thing I know pot is full again. This has been a gift that has kept on going. But mostly he finally understand what I wanted and with my husband that is a miracle.
