Thunder Over Louisville is one of the largest fireworks show in the country and is sponsored for the Kentucky Derby. My boyfriend took me in 2002 and it was ground-shaking incredible! I have never seen fireworks like that in my entire life, just spectacular! Instead of driving the normal 45 minute trip home but would have taken 3 hours, we stayed in a hotel. Fast forward 6 weeks… I found out I was pregnant with our first daughter whom we have nicknamed our Thunder Over Louisville baby. Little did we know the second daughter would be nicknamed my birthday baby!! 😉
